  • All India #Motor Transport Congress🚛🚛🚛🚛 (AIMTC) has demanded an insurance package for the truck drivers and assistants who are engaged in maintaining the supply chain of essential commodities during the lockdown on the lines of frontline health workers.The AIMTC has demanded insurance of  Rs 50 lakh to truck drivers and assistants who transport essential goods across the country.

  • The Haryana government plans to turn state roadways buses into mobile clinics and ensure adequate availability of basic medical facilities, according to Chief Secretary Keshni Anand Arora.

Other than this, Renault India has announced the launch of an online booking campaign, ‘Book Online Pay Later’

In addition, the  National Highways Authority of India 's centralised call number 1033 has also been enabled to answer calls and help drivers/cleaners to find information about the dhabas and repair shops along  National Highways .
